TICKETS
$10.00 per person. All seats general admission.
Pre-school children free of charge. Tickets may
be purchased at parঞ cipaঞ ng schools the week
of the state finals. Contact schools for ticket
distribution hours.
PARKING
The Victory Field lot to the west of the stadium
is the nearest spot on and requires a $5 parking
fee. If full, there are several lots available within
short walking distance of Victory Field. The
State Garage, opposite the centerfield entrance
on the northeast corner of Maryland and West
streets along with the underground garage
northwest of the stadium for the NCAA, Indiana
State Museum and White River State Park.
GATES OPEN
Gates open at one hour prior to the first game
each day (6:30 pm on Friday and 10 am on
Saturday.

TELEVISION & WEBCAST
All four state championship games will air live
on Fox Sports Indiana and be streamed at
IHSAAtv.org. For viewers outside of the Fox
Sports Indiana coverage area, a live stream
will be available at IHSAAtv.org. For those
within the FSI coverage area, the stream will be
available only on delayed basis following the
conclusion of the telecast.

BOB SCHELLINGER TO BE HONORED
WITH OUTSTANDING OFFICIALS AWARD
Bob Schellinger is the recipient of the
2017 Interscholastic Athletic Official
Association Award for excellence in the
sport of Baseball. Bob will be honored in
a special ceremony at this weekend’s state
finals.
Each year, the Indiana High School Athletic
Associaciation, in cooperation with
the National Federation of
Interscholastic Officials
Association,recognizes and
honors an outstanding official in each of
11 sports during the school year.
Bob was selected for this honor by a
committee representing the Indiana
officials associations. He has officiated 15
sectionals, 12 regionals, 4 semistates, and
three state finals during his 45 years as a
licensed baseball official. Bob will be the
home plate umpire in this year’s 3A State
Championship Game.
A graduate of Illinois Benedictine, Bob
studied Health and Physical Education as
well as Secondary Education. He went on
to earn his Master’s Degree in 1984. A
current teacher, Bob is a retired football
and baseball coach. In addition to his
involvement with high school athletics,
he has also volunteered extensively. A
member of the LaPorte County Police
Merit Board for 17 years, he has been a
speaker for the Kiwanis, Rotary and Lion
Clubs of his area.
Bob has been married to his wife, Lorri, for
38 years and has five children: Tricia (38),
Robert, Jr. (35), Mark (32), Kevin (28), and
Danny (23).
