LAKELAND, Fla. — Natalie Anderson was selected as the Sun Conference Setter of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Anderson put together two solid performances, averaging 11.5 assists per set to help the Fire go 2-0 on the week. Her setting helped SEU hit .305 as a team in six sets.
Against Keiser, she recorded 46 assists, which was the most in a three-set match in her career. Anderson also added 17 digs, a pair of aces and a block.
This season, the junior’s setting has allowed Southeastern to get off to the fastest start in conference play since 2013 (8-3).
Anderson and the Fire volleyball team will take the court again on Wednesday when they face Ave Maria at 7 p.m. in the Furnace.
