Purdue improved to 19-7 overall and 12-3 in the Big Ten with a 48-46 win over Indiana … the Boilermakers have won five games in a row against the Hoosiers, tied for the longest streak of the Matt Painter era … Purdue has won eight of nine against the Hoosiers for the first time since 1966-72 … Purdue’s senior class owns a 5-1 record against Indiana.
Purdue’s senior class is 12-3 against in-state opposition, and has won 11 of its last 12 games against in-state foes.
Purdue has won 12 or more Big Ten games in five straight years for only the second time ever (1994-98) … Purdue is 12-3 or better for the sixth time under Matt Painter and for the third straight year.
