Brown earns national honor from NCCAA

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Grace’s track and field freshman Isaac Brown was honored as the NCCAA National Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Brown won the high jump competition at the IWU Invitational, hitting the NAIA “A” standard with a height of 6-feet-8.75.

The Kendallville, Ind., native currently owns the No. 3 jump in the NAIA and No. 1 jump in the NCCAA this season with his previous mark of 6-9.75.

The Lancers will be in Ohio this weekend, taking part in the Defiance Invitational on Saturday.
