CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 3-25-17

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Kristen La Cosse of Crown Point, Thomas Jackson of Calumet and Newlyn Stephenson of Bowman Academy.

In the Hoosier State Relays held Saturday at Indiana University in Bloomington, La Cosse won the long jump with a leap of 18’-9.75”, placed second in the 60-meter hurdles, anchored the 1,600 relay team to a runner-up finish, and finished sixth in the 60-yard dash.

Jackson won the long jump with a leap of 22’-2” and helped the 1,600 relay take fourth place, while Stephenson won the shot put with a toss of 50’-3.75”.

The Center Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
