The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is Penn sophomore softball player Mackenzie Griman.
In Saturday’s 13-3 victory over Huntington North in Penn’s Spring Break Tournament, Griman went 4-of-4 with a double, two triples, and five RBIs. She also picked up the win on the pitching mound, allowing three runs, one earned, on four hits with seven strikeouts and one walk over five innings. This past Saturday, Griman added two hits and three RBIs, including a home run, in 21-0 blanking of Lafayette Jeff and was 1-for-3 in a 4-0 triumph against Munster. For the season, Griman has a .667 batting average with two home runs and 13 RBIs for the Kingsmen (5-0).
The Center Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
