Chargers Fall to Muskegon at Home
Plymouth — Ancilla (9-3, 1-1) started fast, but Muskegon (6-5, 1-1) recovered and led for the final 35 minutes of the game on its’ way to an 88-85 Michigan Community College Athletic Association victory Saturday afternoon.
Trailing by as many as 12 most of the second half, Ancilla would cut the difference to five points, just to have the Jayhawks push it back up to 10. The Chargers got to within two pints with two minutes remaining but could get no closer.
Mike Green led Ancilla with 23 points, with Ty’Sean Sheppard adding 21. Josh Alcindor finished with 12 points, while Albert Haskins grabbed eight rebounds.
Ancilla is back at home on Wednesday when the host Kellogg Community College at 7:30 p.m. at the LifePlex in Plymouth
