Crossroads League Announces Men’s Soccer Award Winners

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2017 Men’s Soccer All-League Team on Tuesday, just three days after Grace clinched the CL Tournament Championship to follow Spring Arbor’s regular season title.

SAU was well represented on the list, garnering three major honors and placing five players on the All-Crossroads League Team. Nate Miller was tabbed as the Crossroads League Coach of the Year, with Morris Kamara being named the CL Player of the Year and Alex Sokalski taking home Defensive Player-of-the-Year accolades. Isiah Handspike and Lewis Jones joined Kamara and Handspike on the First-Team All-CL list, with Jacob Crull securing Second-Team All-CL recognition.

Indiana Wesleyan’s Glauber Oliveira and Huntington’s Matheus Louzada also earned special attention from the Crossroads League, as Oliveira was voted the CL Offensive Player of the Year and Louzada was named the CL Midfield Player of the Year.
