Crossroads League Announces Softball Award Winners

 AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2019 Softball All-League honors on Tuesday, following Marian’s fifth-straight regular season CL Championship.

The Knights were well represented on the All-CL Team, sweeping the major awards and claiming 10 additional All-Crossroads League awards. Scott Fleming was heralded as the CL Coach of the Year, with Breena Smith claiming CL Pitcher-of-the-Year honors and Shelbie Stotts being named the CL Player and CL Newcomer of the Year. Smith and Stotts were also named First-Team All-CL performers, along with fellow teammates Shelby Herron, Kassidi Cadle, Issy Hoyt and Sadie Baugh.

The All-Crossroads League Team is voted on by the league’s 10 head softball coaches.
