Crossroads League Places Trio on CSC Men’s Basketball All-America Team
AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2024-2025 NAIA Men’s Basketball Academic All-American Teams on Tuesday, with three Crossroads League student-athletes making the list.
Spring Arbor’s Gabe Newhof led the way as a First-Team Academic All-American, with IWU’s Griffin Kliewer and Grace’s Ian Raasch being named to the Second-Team.
The CSC Academic All-District and All-American awards are designed to showcase outstanding student-athletes with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average who have reached sophomore status academically and have played in at least 90-percent, or started in 66-percent of their team’s competitions as a key performer during the current season.
CSC Academic All-American honors are voted on by CSC members from around the nation. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must first be selected as CSC Academic All-District performers, after being nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Department.
