COLUMBIA, Ky.  –  Southeastern’s (Fla.) Olson Delisca is the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Delisca wrestled at 133, as opposed to 125, where he’s ranked sixth in the NAIA, and came away with the title at the Georgia Open. In the championship bout, Delisca defeated King’s (Tenn.) Dustin Kirk, the No. 1 wrestler in NCAA Division II, and a third-place finisher at the NCAA Championship in 2016.

Additionally, Delisca had a pin and a tech fall en route to the title bout. This is Delisca’s first wrestler of the week award.

The Fire will host their first two duals on Saturday, December 2 against Cumberlands and Reinhardt.
