Holy Cross men earn 20th win in season finale

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted Calumet College of St. Joseph today in a CCAC matchup. Balanced scoring propelled the Saints to an 88-71 victory over the Crimson Wave. With the win, men’s basketball improves to 20-10 overall and 14-6 in conference play.

Before the tip, men’s basketball seniors Bryce Crosen, Nate Miller, Danie Mahoney, and Michael Hagen were honored for their accomplishments at Holy Cross College.

Key Notes of the Game:

– Holy Cross shot 68% from the field and 44% from three

– The Saints outrebounded the Crimson wave 29-21

– Bryce Crosen finished with 19 points and 6 rebounds

– Storm Cook added 16 points with 3 made threes

– Jordan Gaines went 7/10 from the FT line to finish with 15 points and 7 assists

– Robby Jimenez hit 4 threes in route to 14 points

– Larenzo Moore pulled down 6 rebounds and had 12 points

– Parker Sims added 10 points and 9 rebounds

 

Next Up: With the win, men’s basketball secures a home game for the first round of the CCAC tournament. The game will be Tuesday, February 19. Opponent TBD.
