HOLY CROSS WBB roll past Judson 72-61

Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s basketball team traveled to Judson University for a makeup game previously scheduled on January 30. The Saints defeated the Eagles 72-61 to complete the two game sweep over Judson. With the win, women’s basketball improves to 13-13 overall and 10-6 in CCAC while Judson falls to 12-13 and 8-8.

Key Notes of the Game:

– Holy Cross shot 43% from the field and 46% from three, while going a perfect 6/6 from the line

– The Saints held the Eagles to shooting just 35% from the field and 31% from three

– Women’s basketball was outrebounded 41-36 in the win

By the Numbers:

– Jessica Norris connected on 8 threes in route to a team high 30 points

– Keysha Streater finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds

– Alex Forster scored 12 points and dished out 7 assists

– Kaelyn Barlow pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds

Women’s basketball returns on Wednesday, February 6 when they host Robert Morris University in another CCAC matchup. Tipoff is set for 5:30pm in McKenna Arena.
