Illinois’ Bastianelli, Penn State’s Parker and Wisconsin’s Hilley earn weekly honors

Player and Setter of the Week

Sydney Hilley, Wisconsin

S – So. – Brooklyn Park, Minn. – Champlin Park

Led No. 7 Wisconsin to wins against Ohio State and Maryland averaging 14.83 assists and 3.67 digs per set

Recorded back-to-back double-doubles on the weekend, giving her four consecutive and 12 total double-doubles for the season

Guided the Badger offense to a .329 hitting percentage on the weekend

Earns her first career Player of the Week award

Receives her fifth career Setter of the Week award and third this season

Led the No. 4 Illini to back-to-back sweeps of Northwestern and Rutgers over the weekend, marking the 10th and 11th consecutive wins for Illinois

Averaged 1.83 blocks per set as Illinois’ opponents were held to a .061 team hitting percentage, including only two sets over a .100 hitting percentage

Became the first-ever Illini and only the third-ever Big Ten player to register 700 career total blocks with four rejections against Northwestern as the Wildcats were held to a -.025 attack clip

Collects her fourth career Defensive Player of the Week accolade

Also added 16 total digs for 2.67 per set, and averaged 4.50 points per set over the week

Committed zero hitting errors against the Wildcats with 11 kills on a .579 hitting clip

Receives her third career Freshman of the Week honor
