Michigan State’s Cassius Winston named Player of the Week;
Iowa’s Joe Wieskamp earns Freshman of the Week

Scored a career-high 29 points, handed out six assists and grabbed three rebounds in No. 6/6 Michigan State’s win at Nebraska
Shot 9-of-15 from the floor, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range and 8-of-9 from the foul line as Michigan State extended its school record 19-game conference game win streak
Scored nine of Michigan State’s last 11 points in the road victory, which ended Nebraska’s 20-game homecourt win streak
Became the 51st individual in Michigan State history to surpass 1,000 career points in the victory and now has 1,006 in 88 career games
Leads Big Ten in assists per game (7.3), which is fourth in the nation
Earns the third Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career and this season

His 6-of-6 day on 3-pointers equaled an Iowa school record for most made 3-pointers without a miss previously accomplished by Jim Bartels in 1995 and Jeff Horner in 2004
Helped Iowa to a school record for team field goal percentage (68.0 percent) with his 8-of-8 performance from the floor
Scored all 10 of his points in the second half of Iowa’s comeback victory at Penn State
Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
