Hawkeyes’ Megan Gustafson and Buckeyes’ Dorka Juhász are this week’s honorees

Player of the Week

Megan Gustafson, Iowa

Averaged 29.0 points, 17.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game with a .655 field goal percentage and two double-doubles last week, leading No. 14/13 Iowa to two Big Ten wins and into a tie for first place in the conference standings

Set a Big Ten record for career double-doubles this week (now with 79), topping the previous mark of 77 established by Ohio State’s Jantel Lavender from 2008-11

Scored a game-high 31 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked three shots in Sunday’s win over No. 7/8 Maryland, the Hawkeyes’ first victory over the Terrapins since 1992

A 2017-18 Academic All-Big Ten selection

Destiny Pitts, So., G/F, MINN: Registered 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game with a .600 field goal percentage and .462 three-point percentage in the Golden Gophers’ two conference wins

Marsha Howard, Sr., F, WIS: Posted 23.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game last week, including 28 points, five rebounds and four steals in the Badgers’ Feb. 14 win over No. 24/22 Michigan State (Wisconsin’s first victory over a Top 25 opponent since Jan. 31, 2013)
