Knights Top Preseason Crossroads League Poll, Bradbury Claims Top Honor

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2018-2019 Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll and Preseason All-League award winners on Wednesday, as voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.

Marian hauled in eight first-place votes and was tabbed as the preseason favorite to win the Crossroads League Championship on the heels of securing its third-straight regular season league title one year ago.

Taylor’s Kendall Bradbury was the unanimous selection of the league’s head coaches as the Crossroads League Preseason Player of the Year. Bradbury netted her third NAIA All-American nod in 2017-2018 and was joined on the Preseason First-Team All-Crossroads League Team by fellow 2017-2018 NAIA All-Americans Kara Gerka (USF) and Dejah Cyrus (MU), in addition to All-Crossroads League standouts Nicole Ignasiak (IWU) and Sarah Fryman (HU).
