Lady Pilots falter late vs Huntington

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Bethel College Lady Pilots’ women’s basketball team dropped their sixth consecutive game on Wednesday afternoon, falling to Huntington 75-55 inside the Wiekamp Athletic Center. Jessica Erwin matched a season-high with 18 points and set a career-high with 5 assists in the loss.

  • The Lady Pilots never led in the ballgame, as the Foresters got off to an 8-0 lead. After pulling to within 57-51 after three quarters, the Lady Pilots ran out of gas and were outscored 16-4 in the final stanza for Huntington’s largest lead of the game at 20.
  • Jessica Erwin matched her season-high with 18 points on 6-of-8 from the field and set a career-high with 5 assists. Erwin and Kelsey Brickner combined for 19 of the team’s first 22 points of the game.
