Lancers Eyeing Trip to NAIA National Tournament

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced the teams and Opening Round pairings for the 2017 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Tournament, with Grace making the 31-team field.

Grace (12-4-4) grabbed the Crossroads League’s only automatic bid by topping the CL’s regular season champion, Spring Arbor, in overtime to win the Crossroads League Tournament Championship. The Lancers will travel to No. 5 Baker (15-4-2) for an 8:00 pm (ET) start time on November 18 in the Opening Round.

The tournament will begin on Saturday, November 18, with 15 contests held at various campus sites around the nation. The 15 winning teams, and the host school, Keiser, will then compete at the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, Florida for a 16-team, single-elimination tournament from November 27 through December 2, with the championship match set for 6:00 pm (ET).
