Gophers’ Amber Fiser, Wildcats’ Danielle Williams, Boilermakers’ Jenny Behan and Badgers’ Caroline Hedgcock receive Big Ten’s top honors this week

3B – Sr. – Mundelein, Ill. – Carmel Catholic – Major: Sociology

Batted .529 with a .600 on-base percentage and 1.176 slugging percentage last weekend, adding three home runs, nine RBI and five runs scored as the Boilermakers won four of five games at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic II in Orlando

Had three hits, including two home runs, and five RBI in tournament finale, a run-rule victory over Savannah State on Sunday

Also collected three hits in win over Bradley on March 2, before adding a home run later in the day in a win over SSU

Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

Drilled a three-run home run in the first inning of a win over No. 15/17/20 (and tournament host) Arizona State on March 2

Had an RBI double in a win over No. 9/10/8 Texas earlier on March 2, as well as five RBI in two games against Princeton during the weekend

Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

Recorded three complete game victories, including one shutout, with a 0.33 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 21 innings in the circle for the Gophers at last weekend’s Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona

Tallied double-digit strikeouts in all three outings with a career-high 13 strikeouts on March 2 in the second of two wins over Drake (after shutting out the Bulldogs in the tournament opener on March 1)

Capped the weekend by going the distance in a win over No. 19 James Madison, finishing with 12 strikeouts (including the first eight batters of the game) and allowing just an unearned run

A 2017-18 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten selection

Earns her fifth career Pitcher of the Week honor
