Fort Wayne, Ind. – University of Saint Francis men’s basketball went cold in the final 11 minutes of the game in the 85-70 loss to No. 20 Mount Vernon Nazarene Tuesday night at the Hutzell Athletic Center.

Connor Lautzenheiser led No. 15 USF in scoring with 21 points shooting 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. Antwaan Cushingberry did the same and finished with 19 points.

Isaac White scored a season-high 25 points for MVNU.

IN THE CROSSROADS LEAGUE

  • USF is now tied for fourth place with SAU after Spring Arbor’s 82-81 win hosing Grace, the Lancers are still in third place. Indiana Wesleyan and Marian both picked up wins and remain one and two in the CL. Bethel’s loss to the Knights puts them in a tie for sixth place with MVNU.

  • USF travels to Grace on Saturday, February 15th, with a 3 p.m. tipoff.
  • Cougars’ final two games are hosting Marian and traveling to Spring Arbor.
