GOSHEN, Ind. – The Bethel College baseball team earned their first sweep of the season in Crossroads League action, taking a pair of games from the Maple Leafs 9-6 and 10-7 in eight innings each on Tuesday afternoon. Mason Love capped off the sweep with a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning of game two.

Rocci Beebe and Jake Wilburn gave the Pilots the lead in game one in the top of the eighth inning with an RBI single by Beebe and a two-run single by Wilburn.
Mason Love provided the heroics in game two with a three-run home run on a full count in the top of the eighth inning to give the Pilots the 10-7 cushion. He now leads the team with 2 home runs and 18 RBIs on the season.
The Pilots belted out 20 hits on the day but left 15 runners on base.
Luke Adams has gone 10-for-15 over his last four games and has raised his batting average on the season to .341.
