HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue University Northwest baseball team dropped a non-league contest to St. Joseph’s College, 16-2, Wednesday afternoon at Dowling Park.

SJC would score five runs in the fifth followed by a big seven run sixth to give the Pumas a significant lead.

Schmidt would drive in Anthony Quintero (Griffith, Ind./Griffith) with a hit to right field in the bottom of the sixth, but SJC kept the Pride scoreless in the seventh inning to finish off the game.
