PNW Men’s Basketball Wins OT Thriller over Wayne State, 86-83
After a game-tying three-point field goal from Chandler Spring (Covington, Ind./Covington) in the waning seconds of regulation sent the game to OT, a pair of clutch free throws by freshman Chase Rankin (Columbus, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) which were his only points of the game, solidified an 86-83 victory for the PNW men’s basketball team.

The Pride defeated Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Wayne State University, for the Black and Gold’s second-straight conference victory.

Tim Gilmore (Lancaster, Calif./Palmdale) was almost perfect from the field, scoring 19 points on 7-8 shooting including a quartet of three-point field goals.

Spring went 5-7 from beyond the arc for 15 points while Anthony Barnard (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo) added 13 points and a team-best eight rebounds.

Durante Lee (Gary, Ind./Pike) scored 11 points while Dean Tate (Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central) rounded out the five-players in double-figure scoring with 10 points.​
