- Purdue improved to 20-7 overall and 13-3 in the Big Ten standings with a 75-72 win at Nebraska … the Boilermakers have won 14 of their last 16 games, and 11 of their last 12 games, including three games in a row … the Boilermakers are 5-3 in league play on the road (wins at Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana and Nebraska) … the Boilermakers moved into a tie for the Big Ten lead with Michigan and Michigan State.
- Purdue has now won 13 Big Ten games in three straight seasons for the second time ever (also in 1994-96) and for the fifth time in Big Ten history (Ohio State 2010-13; Michigan State 1998-01; Indiana 1991-93).

- Ryan Cline tallied 13 points with five rebounds and five assists … he made three 3-pointers to move into ninth on Purdue’s single-season 3-pointers made list (84).
- Grady Eifert tallied nine points with eight rebounds and an assist … Eifert had two shot clock buzzer-beating shots late in the game that helped Purdue to a 66-61 lead with 1:08 to play.
- Nojel Eastern tallied nine points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block … Eastern has had at least five points and five rebounds in nine of the last 12 games.
