Saints blast East West 100-60

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted East West University this evening at McKenna Arena. This was the Saints last home game before Christmas break. Men’s basketball jumped out to an early lead and would never trail in the game. The Saints won 100-60. With the win, men’s basketball improves to 9-6 overall.

Key Notes of the Game:

– The Saints limited the Phantoms to shooting just 35% from the field and 24% from three

– Holy Cross had 4 players score in double digits, and 9 players score in the game

–  Men’s basketball shot 62% from the field and 65% from behind the arc

By the Numbers:

– Storm Cook connected on 5 threes in route to a team-high 26 points

– Robby Jimenez went 5 of 7 from the field to finish with 20 points and 5 rebounds

– Bryce Crosen was a perfect 8/8 from the field for 18 points

Men’s basketball will travel to (16) Indiana University East this Friday, December 21. Tipoff is set for 1:00pm.
