Trojans Stumble at Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Taylor volleyball team (6-10, 1-3 CL) fell in three sets on the road versus Huntington (10-5, 2-2) Saturday afternoon as it wrapped up a two-match road trip.
The Trojans could not find their stride offensively, and the Foresters gained confidence as the match wore on, hitting for a .409 percentage in the third set as the hosts closed the match on a 19-9 run.
Grace Ieremia and Gracie Conway each had seven kills to lead TU’s attack. Defensively, McKaylah Flagle recorded a match-high 13 digs.
Taylor looks to turn the page when it plays Wednesday against Spring Arbor (7-6, 1-3 CL). The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Odle Arena.
