SOUTH BEND, Ind. – As their season came to a close on Saturday afternoon, the Indiana University South Bend baseball program picked up two post-season accolades. Colin Mack(FR/Wanatah, Indiana) was chosen as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Freshman of the Year and Jordan Moore (JR/Flat Rock, Michigan) earned First Team All-Conference honors.

Mack finished the season with a team-high 60 hits in 179 at bats while hitting .331 during his freshman campaign. He collected seven doubles and 20 RBI while stealing 11 bases.

Mack is the first Titan to earn Freshman of the Year in the program’s short four year history.

Moore led the team with a .344 average including 13 doubles, one home run, and 24 RBI. He also led the team in on-base percentage with a .443 clip, drawing 26 walks on the year.

As a team, the Titans earned co-Champions of Character recognition for the community service around the Michiana area.
