TU Football Claims 20 Academic All-MSFA Awards

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Mid-States Football Association announced its 2018 All-Academic Team recently, with Taylor ranking third in the 13-team league with 20 student-athletes on the list of 196 to receive recognition.

 

Despite finishing behind the league-leading total of 29 Academic All-MSFA recipients from Saint Francis and 21 from Saint Ambrose, Taylor led the league with 14 Academic All-MSFA performers boasting a grade-point average of 3.55 and above.

 

Taylor was represented on the MSFA All-Academic Team by Mark Baker, Grant Hohlbein, Daniel Boy, Craig Faulkner, Ben Davis, Josh Saltzgaber, Kyle Kempton, Everett Pollard, Grant Gerig, Tyler Gerig, Brady Hill, Brandon George, Jacob Baker, Hunter Brooks, Jordan Bostick, Zac Saltzgaber, Drew LeFever, Titus Martin, Jeff Kaczmarek and Ra Murray.

 

In order to be eligible for Academic All-MSFA recognition, a student-athlete must possess a minimum GPA of 3.20, must have reached sophomore status academically and must be nominated by their head coach.
