Twelve Earn Football Academic All-Mid-South Football from Fire

COLUMBIA, Ky.—Southeastern placed 12 student-athletes on the Mid-South Conference Football Academic All-Conference list.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

For Southeastern, Jacob Carter, Warren Johnson, Tyson Kee, Dillon McGahee, Marque Northington, Jonathan Pearce, Dustin Peebles, Miguel Perera, Augie Schmidt, Collin Thomas, Dan Marinko, Collin Weinland, and Caleb Winter all qualified.

The Fire and Ave Maria each had 13 recipients to lead the Sun Division. This marks the fourth straight year the Fire have been at the top of the conference in academic honorees.

Southeastern will participate in the NAIA Football Championship Series for the second year in a row on Saturday at Lindsey Wilson.
