Van Der Luit Named Honorable Mention All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Southeastern University senior forward Jake Van Der Luit was named 2018 NAIA Men’s Soccer Honorable Mention All-American, announced today

The Chicago native recorded 15 goals and two assists in 16 appearances this season. He had five multi-goal games, and had three game winners. Van Der Luit ranked 19th in the NAIA in goals per game and 29th in points per game.

Van Der Luit is the fifth player in program history to appear on an NAIA All-America list.

Southeastern finished its season 12-4-2 and won The Sun Conference Tournament for the first time since 2015.
