Villalobos honored as NCCAA, CL Player of the Week

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Corinne Villalobos picked up her first national award after a four-goal performance.

Villalobos was named the NCCAA National Player of the Week as well as the Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week for Grace’s women’s soccer team.

She netted a hat trick plus one, scoring all four goal in Grace’s 4-0 win over Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday. The junior has started every game in midfield for Grace, helping the Lady Lancers to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2015.

The Lady Lancers head to Arizona this week with matches at No. 14 Embry-Riddle and Arizona Christian
