Caston (Tony Slocum, first season): 2-8, lost to Triton, 50-0, in Class 1A sectional opener. Have to replace linebacker Trenton Howard and running back Phoenix Singleton. Top players back include senior running back-linebacker Kasey Ault and senior defensive back Tayt Cowell.

Culver (Mike Zehner, second season): 6-5, lost to LaVille, 42-14, in Class 1A sectional semifinal. Have to replace running back-linebacker Josh Krsek and running back-defensive back Troy Bolds. Top players back include senior quarterback Lance Beaver and senior lineman Alecks McBee.

Knox (John Hendryx, third season): 9-3, lost to Whiting, 17-14, in Class 2A sectional final. Have to replace running back-defensive back Ronnie Fisher and linebacker Nathan Sustatia. Top players back include senior quarterback-defensive back Kooper Broeker and junior running back Dawson Patrick.

LaVille (Will Hostrawser, fifth season): 10-2, lost to Southwood, 43-40, in Class 1A sectional final. Have to replace running back Ethan Kertai and quarterback Adam Steinke. Top players back include senior running back-defensive back Dakota Figg and junior linebacker Riley Wagoner.

North Judson (Ted White, fourth season): 5-7, lost to Pioneer, 47-7, in Class 1A sectional final. Have to replace lineman Dale Sandberg and running back Drake Lewis. Top players back include junior running back Fletcher Greer and defensive back Chuckie Wilcox III.

Pioneer (Adam Berry, second season): 14-1, lost to Linton-Stockton, 34-20, in Class 1A state finals. Have to replace running back-linebacker Keith Nies and wide receiver-defensive back Jacob Morris. Top players back include junior quarterback-defensive back Sam Kiser and senior running back-defensive back Austin Mersch.

Triton (Ron Brown, third season): 2-9, lost to Southwood, 39-20, in Class 1A sectional semifinal. Have to replace wide receiver Zac Pitney and lineman Adam Stevens. Top players back include senior running back Max Slusser and senior linebacker Drew Stichter.

Winamac (Craig Barr, first season): 8-5, lost to Whiting, 55-14, in Class 2A regional. Have to replace quarterback Jack DeGroot and running back Matt Shorter. Top players back include senior running back-linebacker Ethan Rodgers and junior linebacker Austin Brandt.
