NORTHERN DIVISION

Adams (Antwon Jones, third season): 3-7, lost to LaPorte, 40-19, in Class 5A sectional semifinal. Opener: at Northridge. Have to replace wide receiver Eric Williams and lineman Liam Driscoll. Top players back include junior quarterback Ira Armstead and senior wide receiver Tre Grey.

Elkhart Central (Josh Shattuck, second season): 4-6, lost to Goshen, 15-14, in Class 5A sectional semifinal. Opener: at Elkhart Memorial. Have to replace quarterback Jackson Wiltfong and wide receiver Adrian Sims. Top players back include senior running back Ricardo Rocha and senior linebacker Patrick Yeakey.

Mishawaka (Keith Kinder, first season): 6-5, lost to New Prairie, 42-21, in Class 4A sectional semifinal. Opener: at Portage. Have to replace running back Isiah Evans and lineman Aaron Faulkner. Top players back include senior quarterback Sam Shively and senior running back Chris Harness.

New Prairie (Russ Radtke, seventh season): 11-2, lost to Lowell, 25-20, in Class 4A regional final. Opener: vs. LaPorte. Have to replace quarterback Nick Wilson and linebacker Austin Weiland. Top players back include junior quarterback Chase Ketterer and junior running back Chris Mays.

Penn (Cory Yeoman, 16th season): 12-2, lost to Ben Davis, 63-14, in Class 6A state championship. Opener: vs. Valparaiso. Have to replace defensive back Paul Moala and defensive lineman James Morris. Top players back include senior wide receiver Brock Boynton and senior running back Ryan Whiteman.

Saint Joseph (Bryon Whitten, third season): 5-7, lost to New Prairie, 42-7, in Class 4A sectional final. Opener: at Concord. Have to replace running back Tim Flanagan and wide receiver Jimmy Verhiley. Top players back include senior quarterback Ashton Ruszkowski and senior lineman Mark Hiestand.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Bremen (Jordan Leeper, third season): 4-6, lost to Bluffton, 27-19, in Class 2A sectional. Opener: at Tippecanoe Valley. Have to replace wide receiver Zach Burkholder and linebacker Branden Martin. Top players back include senior quarterback Ryan Caldwell and senior running back Nathan Mullen.

Clay (Garrett Fields, first season): 0-10, lost to Mishawaka, 71-0, in Class 4A sectional. Opener: at Marian. Have to replace lineman Taariq Whitfield and running back Tecory Gordon. Top players back include senior lineman Noah Horban and junior running back Quentin Gordon.

Glenn (Austin Foust, second season): 3-7, lost to Marian, 8-0, in Class 3A sectional. Opener: at Boone Grove. Have to replace linebacker Cameron Creed and defensive back Collin Barker. Top players back include senior running back Graysen Fansler and junior quarterback Zach Neiswender.

Jimtown (Mike Campbell, 11th season), 6-6, lost to Marian, 21-7, in Class 3A sectional final. Opener: vs. NorthWood. Have to replace linebacker Nic Weiss and defensive back Hunter Whitman. Top players back include quarterback Clay Campbell and senior linebacker Tyler Norment.

Marian (Mike Davidson, first season), 9-5, lost to Brebeuf Jesuit, 17-0, in Class 3A semistate final. Opener: vs. Clay. Have to replace running back-defensive back Michael Hemmingway and lineman Atanasio Sete. Top players back include senior running back John Brach and senior linebacker Zack Whitfield.

Riley (Jarvis Edison, third season): 7-4, lost to Saint Joseph, 39-27, in Class 4A sectional semifinal. Opener: vs. New Haven. Have to replace quarterback James Jackson and lineman Aidan Kendall. Top players back include senior wide receiver Jalen Jennings and senior lineman Damon Woods.

Washington (Jay Johnson, seventh season), 3-7, lost to New Prairie 56-0, in Class 4A sectional. Opener: vs. Hammond. Have to replace running back Donya Harris and lineman Lorenzo Henderson. Top players back include senior quarterback Jarvis Knight and senior linebacker Jeremy Williams.
