Concord (Craig Koehler, fourth season): 10-2, lost to Michigan City, 21-7, in Class 5A regional final.  Opener: vs. Saint Joseph. Have to replace lineman Grant Magnuson and running back Dominick DeBroka. Top players back include junior quarterback Ethan Cain and senior defensive back Harold Moon.

Elkhart Memorial (Scot Shaw, fourth season): 2-9, lost to Mishawaka, 16-9, in Class 5A sectional semifinal. Opener: vs. Elkhart Central. Have to replace wide receiver Nolan Grose and linebacker Jordan Siddons. Top players back include senior defensive back Javon Forester and junior quarterback Tyler Lehner.

Goshen (Kyle Park, fifth season): 2-9, lost to Concord, 28-12, in Class 5A sectional final. Opener: vs. Fairfield. Have to replace quarterback running back Liam Morales and lineman Steven Worlds. Top players back include senior linebacker Noah Shively and senior wide receiver Daveyon Forester.

Northridge (Tom Wogomon, sixth season): 9-1, lost to Culver Academy, 35-12, in Class 4A sectional Opener: vs. Adams. Have to replacerunning back Conner Graber and wide receiver Connor Utley. Top players back include senior quarterback Julius Graber and senior lineman Isaac Thomas.

NorthWood (Nate Andrews, fifth season): 7-4, lost to Angola, 28-21 (OT), in Class 4A sectional semifinal. Opener: at Jimtown. Have to replace running back Brayton Yoder and wide receiver DeAndre Smart. Top players back include senior quarterback Bronson Yoder and senior linebacker Nic Bontrager.

Plymouth (John Barron, 15th season): 6-4, lost to East Noble, 14-13, in Class 4A sectional. Opener: at East Noble. Have to replace linebacker Nate LaFree and running back Benji Nixon. Top players back include senior quarterback Cole Filson and senior running back Blake Reed.

Warsaw (Bart Curtis, first season): 6-5, lost to Penn, 40-0, in Class 6A sectional final. Opener: at Columbia City. Have to replace quarterback wide receiver Zach Riley and running back Will McGarvey. Top players back include junior defensive back Blake Marsh and senior linebacker John Culbertson.

Wawasee (Mike Eshbach, second season): 3-7, lost to Angola, 38-7, in Class 4A sectional. Opener: at Lakeland. Have to replace wide receiver Jacob Hand and lineman Derek Smith. Top players back include senior running back Aaron Evans and senior wide receiver Dylan Hepler.
