HUNTINGTON, Ind. — The NAIA eighth-ranked Bethel Pilots Men’s Soccer team (8-2-1, 2-0-0) outshot the Huntington Forresters (4-4-3, 1-1-0) 21-13 in a 2-1 victory on Wednesday night.
Sami Charaf Amal kicked off the scoring in the 28th minute and gave the Pilots a 1-0, but Huntington answered back in the 30th minute to tie the match into halftime 1-1.
Thiago dos Santos connected with Miguel Martins in the 57th minute for the game-winner and seal a 2-1 victory on the road.
The Pilots shot a total of 21 times with seven on goal and forced four corner kicks.
