Marian High School to Host Jersey Retirement Ceremony for Legendary Basketball Players

Mishawaka, IN – Marian High School and Athletic Director Steve Ravotto are excited to announce the jersey retiring of three former players, Demetrius Jackson, Devin Cannady and Jaden Ivey, three of the greatest players to ever wear a Marian uniform, on Friday, February 14th. The ceremony will take place during halftime of the Holy War.

Demetrius, Devin and Jaden were all standout athletes while they attended Marian and continued their successes at the collegiate and professional levels. Demetrius is Marian’s all-time scoring leader with 1,934 career points, and Marian’s 1st Indiana All Star and McDonald’s All American. Devin ranks 3rd in career points with 1,475 and was an Indiana All Star. Jaden ranks 8th all-time in career points and is the single season point leader with 600. All three were voted MVP of the Northern Indiana Conference and led the Knights to a conference championship. Their dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport make them beloved Knights in the Marian Family.

We are thrilled to recognize their incredible achievements and dedication to Marian’s basketball program. This ceremony is a well-deserved tribute to their accomplishments and commitment to excellence on and off the court.

The media is invited to a reception prior to tip off on February 14th at 7:00pm for a few interviews.
