All Five Starters in Double Figures as Pilots Rout Leafs

 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Bethel College Pilots men’s basketball team defeated Goshen in their Crossroads League home opener on Wednesday night 83-61 on the strength of a 34-10 run in the second half to blow the game open. All five Pilot starters reached double figures for the first time in 15 games.

  • The Pilots used a 34-10 run to dominate the second half to extend a three-point halftime lead to a 73-46 advantage with just over six minutes remaining.
  • Trey’von Covington knocked down four triples for the third time this season.
  • All five starters scored in double figures for the first time this season and the first time since February 13 of last season.
