SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Sarah Allison (SR/Mishawaka, Indiana) had a career-night on Thursday as she bested her previous career-high of 21 kills with 25 to lead the Indiana University South Bend volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of the University of St. Francis Fighting Saints.

  • Allison added eight digs and three assists to her career-high 25 kills
  • McKenzie Powell (FR/Rolling Prairie, Indiana) matched her season-best with 35 assists to go with 11 digs
  • Robbie Berg (JR/Montague, Michigan) tallied 14 digs
  • Samantha Hockstra (JR/Fruitport, Michigan) led the Titans with 20 digs, her second 20-plus dig performance of the week
  • The Titans finished with eight blocks
  • IU South Bend hit at a .226 clip in the win


IU South Bend will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan this weekend for the Cornerstone/Aquinas tournament. The Titans will play Siena Heights and Aquinas on Friday and close out the tournament against Cornerstone and Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.
