Ancilla Beats Top-ranked Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids, MI – Ancilla College beat top-ranked Grand Rapids Community College (21-6, 13-3) 91-76 Saturday in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association game on the road.
The Chargers (19-7, 12-4) got 21 points and 15 rebounds from sophomore Ty’Sean Sheppard, as Ancilla placed five players in double-figures. Josh Alcindor scored 14, Mike Green 13, Mike Haskins had 12 and Mike Hemingway finished with 11 points
Ancilla, which is a game out of first and a game ahead of third place Lansing, will host the Stars on Monday for Sophomore Day. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
