Ancilla College has announced Joseph Steenbeke from Culver will be the Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach this fall. Steenbeke is an avid golfer and came highly rated from Swan Lake Golf Pro Chad Hutsell.
A hardworking person who enjoys advancing his knowledge and skills, Steenbeke is an army veteran and believes his discipline and passion to teach will be a big advantage in the coaching ranks.
“I appreciate the opportunity to coach the Ancilla men’s and women’s golf teams,” Steenbeke said. “They have been very successful and I hope to continue that success and build upon it.”
Steenbeke still has spots to fill on next year’s roster and has been busy on the phone since being hired. He inherits a program that sent the women’s team to nationals the past two years and an individual men’s golfer to nationals this year.
