Ancilla Volleyball Head Coach Bruce Johnson announced Wednesday that Keely Fink has signed her LOI to compete with the Chargers in 2019. Fink is the daughter of Cathy Fink and is a native of Hanover, Ind. She will major in criminal justice.

A six-foot middle hitter, Fink attended Southwestern HS where she helped her team win over 60 matches and three straight Ohio River Valley Conference Championships during the past three years. Fink also is a four-year letter winner and a three-time all-conference honoree, as well as, belonging to the Southwestern HS 1,000 point club with a total 1,116 points. Keely is also the number four all-time leading blocker at Southwestern.

“I’m very pleased to sign such an outstanding offensive player that is also capable of having a big block party every night,” Coach Johnson said. “I anticipate that Keely will have a positive impact on our program next season”.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to play the sport I love and being able to take it up a notch at the college level,” Fink said. “I’m grateful to have the opportunity to become a part of a new team and making more memories”.

“Keely is an outstanding volleyball player with a lot of potential left in her and is always looking to improve her game,” said Chris Johnson, Southwestern’s coach. “I think Ancilla is a great fit for her. Keely will hopefully be able to bring a fast pace attacking game to the Charger line-up. I’m confident she can step in and contribute to the Ancilla program success right away”.
