LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern University golfer Carlos Ardila was named The Sun Conference Golfer of the Week for his efforts at the Slammer and Squire Course in St. Augustine.
Ardila was the top finisher at the Georgetown Invitational at PGA World Golf Village, shooting two under-par rounds. In the second round, the two-time All-American had the low round at 71, finishing two strokes ahead of second place P.J. Shields of Dalton State. As a team, the Fire finished in a tie for second.
The Fire are back in action March 5 at the USCB Invitational.
