COLUMBIA, Ky.-Southeastern University football players Bryan Bell and David Larson were honored by the Mid-South Conference for their efforts in a 44-0 win by the Fire over Edward Waters on Homecoming.

Bell was named Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 155 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. The Fairhope, Ala. native averaged 6.5 yards per carry, accounting for more than half of SEU’s total rushing on the day. He also caught a five yards pass.

This marks the second weekly conference honor for the freshman.

Larson was named Special Teams Player of the Week, helping the Fire to a huge field position advantage.
