COLUMBIA, Ky.—Southeastern university freshman running back Bryan Bell was named the Mid-South Conference Sun Division Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in leading the 18th-ranked fire to a 58-14 win at Cincinnati Christian.
Bell needed just three touches to produce two touchdowns, scoring on a 49-yard reception and a 33-yard run, totaling 126 yards of offense.
For the season, Bell has totaled 192 yards on 22 carries, and is averaging 8.7 yards per carry.
The Fire return home on Saturday to take on Bethel (Tenn.) at 4:30 p.m.
