THOUGHTS FROM COACH DRABYN
• “It wasn’t perfect by any stretch, but our guys played hard and competed in a tough environment. We have been working hard on becoming a good defensive team and we forced GSU into a lot of tough shots. Give them credit, they made a lot of tough ones. I thought we stayed with it and kept playing despite some tough breaks. Nathan Aerts did a great job getting us going and Zac Owens and Wesley Burse made some perimeter shots early. We allowed them to shoot too high of a percentage in the first half but did a much better job in the second half forcing them into tough shots. We finished the game well executing late and look forward to using this game to get better.”

NEXT TIME OUT
• The Pilots make their Wiekamp Athletic Center debut on Friday at 3:00 pm against Simmons (Ky.).
