Saint Mary of the Woods, Ind. — Marcos Henrike led the Bethel Pilots (8-12, 4-10) to a sweep of the Saint Mary of the Woods Pomeroys (2-21, 0-12) on Friday at the Jeanne Knoerle Sports and Recreation Center.
Marcos Henrike led the Pilots with 15 kills and swung at a clip of a .591 hitting percentage. Henrike had nine digs, two aces, and a solo block for the Pilots.
Erik Malek had 35 assists and now averages 3.27 assists per set on the road and 3.0 assists per set in WHAC play.
The Pilots dominated on offense with 42 kills versus the Pomeroy’s 20 kills, and the Pilots had seven aces to SMWC’s four.
