Bethel seniors finish strong with sweep of Huntington

Mishawaka, Ind. – The Bethel women’s volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on Wednesday with a sweep of Huntington to finish tied for sixth in the league, but due to tie-breakers with the Foresters, will be the 7-seed in the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday.

  • Forester Head Coach Kyle Shondell was given a caution in the first set after protesting a call with the Pilots leading 18-12.
  • The Foresters and the Lady Pilots finished the season tied for sixth in the league standings. The Foresters allowed 44 to the Pilots on Sep. 20, while the Pilots allowed 65 on Wednesday, giving the Foresters the tie-break and dropping the Pilots to the 7-seed in the Crossroads League Tournament.
  • The Lady Pilots finish the season with an 8-4 record at home this season.

  • The Pilots will travel to 2-seed Indiana Wesleyan for the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, November 4.
