MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots Women’s Soccer team (5-3-1, 1-1-0) defeated the Huntington Forresters (5-4-1, 1-1-0) on a cloudy Wednesday night.
The first-half possession favored the Pilots, who outshot the Forresters 12-2. Leena Thomas had three long-range opportunities that were stopped, along with Karly Harfouche, who had two long-range shots.
Autumn Beaudoin opened the second half with a cross to Audrey Lerch, who crashed the goal for a header in the 47th minute to break the silence and win the match.
