Chicago, Ill. The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Women’s Soccer Conference Player of the Week awards this morning. Freshman McKenzie Blankenbaker was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Blankenbaker, from Granger, Ind, helped the Saints to a 1-0-1 record this past week. The freshman scored her first multi-goal match versus Andrews University on September 5, and also added 10 shots and one assist. The Saints would win 8-0. She followed that up with a three shot game versus St. Mary of the Woods on September 8th.

The Saints will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Goshen College for a non-conference match. Kickoff set for 7p.m.
